Stash is a premium, Clash‑based proxy client for iPhone and iPad—renowned for its beautiful UI, rule‑based routing, and deep customization. This guide takes you from first‑time setup to advanced features like Overrides.
Please note: Stash is a premium, paid app. You must purchase it on the Apple App Store to follow this guide.
Tap the main switch on the Home tab. It turns on, and you’ll see the VPN icon in your status bar. Grant VPN permissions if prompted.
On the Home tab, tap a Policy Group (e.g., Streaming Services). View nodes, test latency with the lightning icon ⚡, then select the fastest one for that group.
Stash’s signature feature is Overrides—dynamic modifications applied on top of your remote profile without editing the original file.
Example: Create an Override to add a custom rule forcing a specific app (e.g., Netflix) to always use your US Servers policy group—even if your base config doesn’t include that rule.
Profile download fails: Ensure your URL is Clash‑compatible. Stash does not support V2Ray/SSR‑specific formats. Check your network connectivity.
Connected, but some apps don’t work: Verify Outbound Mode (try switching from Rule to Global). Confirm you selected valid nodes in key policy groups. If rules seem off, test with a simpler default rule set.
